Our school's pep rally is all about building community and celebrating the positive culture that makes our school special! Each rally highlights our four core values: Respect, Kindness, Responsibility, and Safety. Through fun games, social-emotional learning moments, and lots of school spirit, students and staff come together to support one another and have a great time. It's more than just an event… it's a celebration of who we are!

4th Grade Interns
At our school, 4th graders have the special opportunity to apply for the Student Intern Program, a leadership initiative that allows them to support and connect with younger students. As interns, these student leaders take on meaningful roles such as helping during snack time, serving as reading buddies, and assisting with spelling and classroom tasks.
Through this program, our 4th graders learn the values of responsibility, kindness, and respect, while becoming positive role models within our school community. Younger students love working with their “big buddies,” and our interns take great pride in giving back and making a difference. Each year, students eagerly look forward to being a student intern and continuing our tradition of helping one another grow and succeed.

Learn With Your Child
Each month, our school hosts Learn With Your Child, a special event where families are invited to join their children in the classroom. During these sessions, families experience what a typical school day is like—participating in lessons, routines, and activities together. It’s a fun, engaging way to connect, learn, and celebrate the amazing work our students do every day! Come learn with us at 33!

Talent Show
One of our favorite traditions, the PS 33 Talent Show celebrates the creativity and skills of our students. With dozens of performances and an auditorium full of cheering family and friends, it’s a joyful event that brings our community together.

Our Annual Field Day is one of the most exciting and anticipated events of the year at PS 33! Students come together for a day full of fun, friendly competition, and school spirit. Entire grades are divided into colorful teams that compete in a variety of exciting games and challenges.
Field Day is more than just play—it’s a celebration of teamwork, cooperation, and community. Smiles, laughter, and encouragement fill the air as students cheer one another on. At PS 33, we believe that on Field Day, we all win—together!

Annual Family Game Night
Our Annual Family Game Night is a free, fun-filled evening where families come together to play and connect—no screens, just classic and new games for everyone to enjoy! From giant checkers and tic-tac-toe to bean bag tosses and more, families get back to the basics with laughter and friendly competition.
During the event, students practice being responsible, kind, safe, and respectful—core values that make our school community shine. By showing these behaviors, students can earn tickets for a chance to win epic prizes! It’s one of our favorite traditions that brings our whole school family together for a night of fun and connection.
