​​​2024-25 Busing Update

• OPT assigns the routes and stops based on your Primary address. No changes can be made unless you qualify for an exemption, https://www.schools.nyc.gov/school-life/transportation/bus-eligibility/exceptions-to-transportation-eligibility
• Busing information is now available for students who were enrolled at Chelsea Prep LAST YEAR.  Check your NYC School Account (link)​. Existing Students with busing will receive the closest stop to their Primary residence.​
• Bus Eligibility changes at 3rd grade with transportation eligibility at https://www.schools.nyc.gov/school-life/transportation/bus-eligibility. Even though they are no longer eligible for busing they should be eligible for an OMNY card.
• Eligible New Students, including Kindergarten, received a google form to complete.​
• There is NO busing for Pre-K students.​

Late Bus or other issue, please contact the Office of Pupil Transportation (OPT) Help Desk immediately on (718) 392 8855 to log the issue or complaint. Please email the OPT Ticket number to parent coordinator.
